WASHINGTON, D.C. -- House Appropriations Committee Chairman Hal Rogers announced this week Congressman Mark Amodei (NV-2) will serve as Vice Chair of the Legislative Branch Appropriations Subcommittee for the 114th Congress. He will serve as Chair of the subcommittee in the absence of Chairman Tom Graves (GA-14) and assist him in official committee duties.

Chief of Staff Rick Goddard is departing Capitol Hill to return to his native Georgia and Legislative Director Bruce Miller will be elevated to chief of staff. Congressman Amodei introduced a companion bill in the United States House of Representatives. The legislation prevents the threat of executive action designating or expanding national monuments without Congressional approval or local support.
