Amodei thanks Rural Representative Meghan Brown

ELKO, NEV. –Congressman Mark Amodei (NV-2) today announced his rural representative, Meghan Brown, accepted a position as deputy administrator plant industry with the Nevada Department of Agriculture. He thanked Brown for her service in his Elko district office.

“On behalf of the constituents of the Second District of Nevada, I want to thank Meghan for her tireless work on the issues most important to rural communities, from land use to grazing to water rights to hard rock mining. Nevadans have a unique relationship with the federal government and in Meghan they had a strong voice who is as dedicated as she is knowledgeable. I wish her the best of luck in her new endeavor with the Nevada Department of Agriculture and look forward to working with her in this new capacity.”    

Amodei is the only federal elected official with an office presence in Elko and is in the process of finding a successor to Brown.
