Community Project Funding Requests

Site builders might want to link to Appropriation Requests from previous years here.
We can't do anything about requests older than 2026 progrmicaly. Each site has had their own custom solution up to now.

Going forward, content editors in the member offices generate nodes of type `Appropriation Request` every year for the following fiscal year. Aggregation and display is provided dynamically using the view below.

Appropriation Request view attached to this landing page filters nodes of evo_appropriation_request type by YYYY part of authored_on date. 

This view is designed to work without manual config adjustment until 2030. Please do not expect the views UI to make sense. What you see in the UI is only the default fallbacks. evo_appropriation_request module provides the functionality in code.

• The filter is a contextual one (Authored on: Year) with its default value set to "current date [YYYY]". It is recalculated automatically on every page load — no one needs to edit this view when the year changes.
• Note calendar-year cutoff is (Jan 1–Dec 31), not a Congress-session cutoff (Jan 3–Jan 3).
• A single Congress spans two calendar years. Requests authored in year N and year N+1 of the same Congress will show up under different `FYNN` filters.
• View title changes dynamically based on the value of exposed filter.
• Default exposed filter (Fiscal Year) default value is the current calendar year.
• Exposed filter (Fiscal Year) rage starts from authored_on dates of the oldest node of type evo_appropriation_request type and continues to current calendar year plus 2.
