Amodei Welcomes Legislative Branch Subcommittee Members

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Today, U.S. Representative Mark E. Amodei (NV-02), Chairman of the Legislative Branch Appropriations Subcommittee, issued the following statement after Representatives Stephanie Bice (OK-05), Andrew Clyde (GA-09), Scott Franklin (FL-18), and Jake LaTurner (KS-02), were selected to serve as Republican Members on the Legislative Branch Subcommittee:
“The Legislative Branch Subcommittee is small but mighty. With jurisdiction and oversight functions over the U.S. Capitol Police, Library of Congress, Congressional Budget Office, Government Accountability Office, Architect of the Capitol, and the House of Representatives, we have our work cut out for us. This strong group of Members will allow the subcommittee to be incredibly effective in carrying out that mission. I look forward to working with them.”
Along with Chairing the Legislative Branch Subcommittee, Representative Amodei will continue to serve on the Subcommittee on Interior, Environment, and Related Agencies and the Subcommittee on Financial Services and General Government. He has been active in these subcommittee assignments since the 114th Congress.
