ELKO, NEV. – Congressman Mark Amodei (NV-2) today released the following statement on the passing of Elko County Commissioner Grant Gerber:

“My sincere condolences, thoughts and prayers go out to Grant’s wife Lenore, his family and friends. A fourth generation Nevadan, Elko County native, Army Captain, Vietnam veteran, Bronze Star recipient, husband, father of six, public servant, Grant lived his life as a passionate Westerner and was a strong voice for the community on multiple use and resource management. May you rest in peace.”
