Amodei Statement on the Passing of Don Carano

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Mark Amodei (NV-02) today released the following statement after learning of the passing of Donald Carano, a friend, fellow lawyer, casino resort business leader, and world famous wine maker:

“It’s a sad thing to have to say goodbye to one of the Silver State’s premier icons. Don was a true family man, a loving father and grandfather, a devoted husband, and a Reno native with a strong commitment to Nevada’s success. He was also a true pioneer, instrumental in the development of Reno’s business community, and a special part of the enhanced fabric of our state. This is the end of an era in Nevada and my deepest condolences are with his family during this difficult time.”
