WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Representative Mark Amodei (NV-02) today issued the following statement in response to the crisis in Ukraine and the Biden Administration’s foreign and domestic agenda:

“After a year of the Biden Administration and Congressional Democrats being focused on progressive agendas and not America or its citizens, we find ourselves exactly where we’ve been heading, unmistakably, the whole time. The situation in Ukraine continues to deteriorate. The Russian conquest is being implemented. Border policy and foreign policy are both found in the morgue, and the economy is in critical condition. The Administration’s energy policy is a self-inflicted disaster, fences are being put back up around the Capitol, crime is the only growth sector, trust in the federal government and its institutions – without exception – is at zero, and the President, Vice President, Speaker, and Senate Majority Leader appear to be content presiding over what has to be the worst 12 months in the modern history of managing the federal government.

“While energy production in Russia and Iran is booming, at home, the majority party is working to drive through an agenda which continues the direct attacks on domestic energy producers. On top of that, between coronavirus shutdowns, paying workforces to stay home, inflation, food, and energy prices – make no mistake, this Administration’s most endangered species is America’s small businesses.

“Those of us non-woke, non-Green New Deal, non-cancel culture, progressive myth non-believers, will continue to keep the faith, man the walls, and carry on the fight for solving problems instead of lying about reality. The President refuses to join the fight, the challenge is clear. We now need to rescue ourselves, our nation, and its institutions from the failed agendas and the failed leaders running our nation. Saddle up.”
