Amodei seeks entries for 2012 Congressional Art Competition

WASHINGTON, D.C. --Congressman Mark Amodei (NV-2) today announced his office is accepting entries from high school students for the 2012 Congressional Art Competition. Students grades nine through 12 are encouraged to submit original works of art, which will be judged by a panel from the local arts community on May 1 at the Lake Mansion in Reno.
The winning work of art will be displayed for one year in the U.S. Capitol and the winner will receive two airline tickets to attend the Congressional viewing in Washington, D.C.
Three additional winners will be selected and their art will be displayed in Amodei's offices in D.C., Reno and Elko.

All entry forms must be received by April 10 in the Reno District Office at 400 South Virginia Street, Suite 502, Reno, NV 89501.
All actual art submissions must be received by April 17. Submissions may be mailed or hand-delivered to my Reno office and my Elko office, 905 Railroad Street, Suite 104 D, Elko, NV 89801.
