WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Mark Amodei (NV-2) returned to Washington, D.C. Wednesday to prepare for the key issues facing Congress as the House resumes session next week, including the looming vote on military intervention in Syria.During the August District Work Period, Amodei logged more than 1,000 miles meeting with constituents across the 11-county Congressional District spanning Northern Nevada.
“I want to thank my fellow Nevadans for their participation in numerous town halls, individual and group meetings, and facility tours during the past four weeks,” said Amodei. “Listening to the feedback of the people who hired me has been more productive and helpful than most anything else undertaken in Washington, D.C. this year. I’m bringing all those opinions back with me and I’m eager to continue to represent the views of Northern Nevada in the U.S. House.”
