WASHINGTON, D.C.– Congressman Mark Amodei today announced the additions of Scheduler Sarah Rogers, Legislative Counsel Anna Lake, Legislative Correspondent Stephanie Walker, and Staff Assistant Matthew Gaske, to his Washington, D.C. team.

“My staff and I are dedicated to providing the people of Northern Nevada with the highest level of representation and constituent service,” said Amodei. “I’m confident the second district of Nevada will remain in good hands with the welcome additions of Sarah, Anna, Stephanie and Matthew to my Washington, D.C. office.”

Prior to joining the Amodei team, Rogers, a graduate of the University of Mississippi, was scheduler to vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan, with the Romney for President campaign.

Lake comes from the House Committee on Small Business where she was chief clerk and parliamentarian. She holds Master of Laws and Master of Public Administration degrees from American University, earned her Juris Doctor from Charleston School of Law and her undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina.

Walker, who has served in Amodei’s Reno office since 2011, will move to Washington, D.C. when she completes her Bachelor of Science in business administration-marketing from the University of Nevada this spring.

Gaske, a Henderson, Nev. native, is a recent graduate of Duke University, who interned in Amodei’s D.C. office and will serve as staff assistant until he is accepted to law school.

The additions fill vacant positions on Amodei’s staff. Since his election to the House of Representatives in September 2011, Amodei has run a lean, fiscally conservative office with an emphasis on skilled, experienced staff. In two years in office, he has returned $241,800 in unspent office funds to the treasury for federal debt reduction and eliminated two vacant staff positions, one in Washington, D.C. and one in his Reno office.
