Amodei announces appointment of Rural Representative and opening of Elko Office

ELKO, NEV. -- Congressman Mark Amodei (NV-2) announced today the appointment of his new rural representative, Meghan L. Brown and the official opening of his Elko office at 905 Railroad Street, Suite 104 D. Amodei will host an open house there on Saturday, January 7, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., which is open to the public and media.
Brown of Spring Creek has nearly a decade of ranching and land management experience, most recently as executive director of the Nevada Cattlemen’s Association. She is a graduate of Utah State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Studies with an emphasis in Range Management.
"I am thrilled to have Meghan on board as my rural representative. She understands first-hand the unique public lands challenges faced by Nevadans and the effect they have on our way of life," said Amodei. "I'm confident that Meghan will be a great partner and advocate for the people of NV-2."
