Congressman Amodei to headline Dayton Chamber's 5th Annual Veterans Dinner

Mike Kunz and Stephen Hipp, co-chairmen of the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce Veterans Dinner, announced that US Congressman Mark Amodei will be the featured speaker at the Chamber's 5th Annual Veterans Appreciation Dinner.
The dinner will be held at the Dayton Valley Golf Club on 101 Palmer Dr. on Sunday, November 6, 5pm. The buffet dinner will be served free to local veterans and their guests courtesy of main sponsor, Jim Kepler, Dayton Valley Golf Club.
Kunz, a US Navy veteran, and Hipp, a US Marine Corps veteran, noted that "the dinner gives us an opportunity as a community to recognize our veterans and their families and the sacrifice they made for our country. We couldn't be more thrilled to have Congressman Amodei, a native Nevadan who grew up in Carson City, as our speaker." Amodei served with the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General Corps, from 1983 to 1987 and was awarded the Army Achievement Medal, Army Commendation Medal, and Meritorious Service Medal.
Additionally, there will be a free raffle for the veterans, a Marine Corps cake cutting ceremony, and live music featuring the dulcet tones of saxophonist David Lewis.
Kunz and Hipp also noted that veterans from Mound House to Silver Springs are invited, but tickets are limited. Table sponsorships are available for $250 which will allow all veterans to attend for free. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the local VFW Post, and as a thank you to Mr. Amodei, we will be making a donation to the veteran organization of his choice.
