Passport

The State Department's travel website is travel.state.gov. Constituents who are in the process of planning a trip overseas are strongly encouraged to visit the website for up-to-date information.

USEFUL LINKS:
• General passport information: www.travel.state.gov/passports
• How to apply: travel.state.gov/applyinperson
• How to renew: travel.state.gov/renew
• How to find country-specific passport validity requirements: Country Information

Constituents can check the status of passport applications with the National Passport Center online, by phone: 1-877-487-2778, or via email: NPIC@state.gov.

If travelers need help with their passports, timing is extremely important. Congressman Amodei can help, but his office recommends that constituents contact them at least two weeks from their planned departure date. Please call the Reno office at 775-686-5760.
